Quick answer
To prepare for a window cleaning, just clear access to your windows (move cars from the driveway, unlock gates, trim back anything blocking the glass), secure pets, and for interior work, move small items off sills and clear a path. You don’t need to take down screens, move heavy furniture, or be home for an exterior-only clean.
Outside (exterior cleans)
- Clear driveway/parking so the crew can set up near your home.
- Unlock gates and ensure side-yard access to reach every window.
- Move patio items or grills directly in front of low windows if easy.
- Note any problem windows (heavy staining, a stuck screen) so we can plan for them.
Inside (interior cleans)
- Clear sills of plants, frames and small décor.
- Open a path to each window; we’ll handle blinds gently but light tidying helps.
- Secure pets in a comfortable room so doors can open and close.
We bring shoe covers and protect your floors and furnishings — you don’t need to cover anything yourself.
What you don’t need to do
No need to remove screens, move heavy furniture, or pre-clean anything. For exterior-only work you don’t even need to be home — many clients book and leave it to us. We’ll confirm access details ahead of time.
